There are many ways to give to Habitat for Humanity of Goldsboro-Wayne.

THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO CONTRIBUTE!

• Cash donation: either as a one-time or a recurring gift via our online donation page or by check to Habitat for Humanity of Goldsboro-Wayne, PO Box 10809, Goldsboro, NC 27532.
   
• Build Your Legacy: Remember Habitat in current and future estate planning, including gifts such as required minimum distributions, stock transfers, bequests, charitable annuities, retirement plan assets, donor advised funds, beneficiary designations and more.   • IRA Distributions/Qualified Charitable Distributions: If you are required to take distributions from your IRA or retirement account, the can be great ways to maximize your charitable impact and lessen your tax burden.
     
  • Stock Giving: Donating appreciated stock can be one of the most tax-smart ways to support Habitat Goldsboro-Wayne. When you donate stock, you can avoid capital gains taxes, not only benefiting you, but also allowing more of your gift to go toward building homes, community and hope.
     
  • Bequests: Remembering Habitat Goldsboro-Wayne in your estate planning is a wonderful and meaningful way to leave a lasting legacy of hope and stability for families in our community. Bequests can be made through your will or a living trust and are flexible, allowing you designate a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or even an asset.
     
• In-kind donation: If you have goods or services that can help offset operating costs and costs of construction, email Executive Director Matthew Whittle for more information.
   
• Property Donation: Habitat can't build homes without land, so if you have a buildable piece of land you are considering donating or selling below cost, email Executive Director Matthew Whittle for more information.
   
• ReStore donation: visit our ReStore page for donation information, including accepted items and drop-off times/location. You can also schedule a free pickup online, call 919-736-9550 or email the ReStore.
   
• Cars for Homes: If you have a car you aren't using but don't want to go to the trouble of selling yourself, you can donate it to Habitat and we can turn that into funds for the mission. Click here for more information about the Cars for Homes program, but be sure to designate Habitat for Humanity of Goldsboro-Wayne as the recipient.
